MARCH 19 UPDATE

  • To All Staff,

Due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 around the nation and state, we are asking all South Bergen Jointure Commission employees to self monitor and be vigilant of any symptoms that may arise.  If you or your child/family member should experience symptoms, especially respiratory symptoms, the Department of Public Health advises that you should  immediately contact your local health care provider. If you or your immediate family has tested positive for Covid-19, please notify the office of the Superintendent immediately, as well as your immediate Supervisor. You may call the Board of Education at (201) 393-0475 ext 236.  Medical information you provide to the district will be kept confidential.

We cannot and will not identify individuals who have tested positive for Covid-19.
HIPAA regulations require that we keep this information confidential. Please understand if anyone in your family is ill, please contact your medical provider.

Please refer to the attached guidance by the CDC and the New Jersey Department of Health if you or an immediate family member have been infected by the virus that causes COVID-19.  We greatly appreciate your vigilance and help with keeping our district and community safe.  Thank you.
