Our Board of Education
The SBJC is governed by a Commission composed of eighteen trustees, who are each a member of a participating school district and appointed by their respective Boards of Education.
The Commission has all the powers and authority of a Board of Education and is funded entirely by income derived from the provision of services and/or by assessments. The Jointure Commission serves as a lead agency for the purposes of creating consortiums or cooperative enterprises. This Board of Education includes President and Vice President positions, as well as Board Secretary and Treasurer positions.

Pursuant to the requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, notice is hereby given of the schedule of Public Meetings of the South Bergen Jointure Commission Board of Education to be held from July 2025 through June 2026. All meetings will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the SBJC Board of Education Office ("The Ed Center") unless otherwise noted.
